Design Crush: Shourouk Rhaiem

I drew a lot of inspiration for the most recent eff.Y.bee collection from lusting over the work of Shourouk Rhaiem, a French jewelry designer. Her color combinations, use of different rhinestones, and interesting combination of materials contributes to the bold and uniqueness factor of her jewelry. She explains in this interview that her jewelry represents the merging of her childhood universe, made of the traditional costumes her Tunisian grandmother used to wear with the silver sequins and sumptuous embroideries, and her life in France- how enchanting! She also explains how her second collection was inspired by mermaids. Below are some of her pieces from her "Sassy Collection". Though her jewels are way out of my price range, I love browsing her collections and drawing inspiration from her magnificent stuff.
