The greatest feeling of fulfillment is to look back and see how far eff.Y.bee has come since August, how many people have been a part of the journey, and the love and support from customers, friends, and family. eff.Y.bee is proof that you can succeed in pursuing what you want. It is within your reach, you just need an idea, a little faith, and a lot of passion.
My hopes and aspirations for eff.Y.bee in 2012 is to see its continued growth by designing and creating new and unique collections, planning spring photo shoots and look books, & planning trunk shows and events. 2012, here we go :)

Happy New Years Everyone <3

Perfect NYE eyeshadow:

Found this look via pinterest - absolutely LOVE this. I plan to replicate this look for NYE with Lancome shadow (see below)

Lancome Color Design eyeshadow in 505 All that Glitters $18

Left: dry application, Right: wet application
I always get sucked into the makeup counters when I walk through a department store. I start casually browsing with the intention to keep on moving through, and next thing I know, its been hours later and I'm sitting in a chair getting a makeover & venting/telling my life story to the lady at the counter. Normal.

Anywayyyyy, what started as returning an eyeliner ended up with getting a smokey eye tutorial and this amazinggg eyeshadow! It's perfect to spruce up and add a little glimmer to your makeup.

The lady first applied a soft taupe all over my lid, used a dark matte brown shadow for my crease, and then applied this shimmer color just to the center of my lid, after wetting her brush. It created such a sultry look, and I'm definitely planning on wearing this eyeshadow for NYE :) Hopefully I'm able to master the smokey eye without looking like a raccoon :x
